I can relate to all of this. I’m so glad they both got here perfect and healthy! I gained 30…and I left the hospital the same weight as when I checked in. YUCK! So I have a ways to go. I’m probably the only person who can have an 8 lb baby and not lose an ounce!

How happy Will & I were when you told us. We were dealing with sorrow due to Mom Peters death, but Roger & u brought much needed joy to our hearts during this time. It was perfect timing. Mom Peters would have been so excited for the two of u, & we know now she is looking down upon little William every day & has a smile on her face . God has away of giving us comfort even through a small child

I know the feeling…my doctor’s comment was “you’re pregnant but it’s not going to last.”
Also, good thing you didn’t keep the stick. The words disappear just about the time you get to the doctor visit.

Knowing that you have a healthy baby at the end, I can’t wait to read the rest!

I am curious about parsnips, too. I actually bought some a while back but couldn’t figure out what to do with them and they went bad in my fridge. lol. I have read that they are kind of a cross between a potato and a turnip but sweeter. They sound interesting and I intend to find a recipe that I want to try them in and THEN go buy some.

I love this too. Ecuador touched me in a way I can’t put into words. I’ve been three times and this last trip with you and Roger was the most meaningful. Seeing my kids serve their God is very special. I love you both for sharing with me. I’m stopping now before I start boo-hooing…..(which is not something I usually do)

Mom – Water for Elephants is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed it. But make sure you don’t have anything else to do for the day, because you’ll want to read it in one sitting. It took me 3 or 4, but you read a lot faster than I do!

Nate – Hmm, 40 books? I thought about making a resolution to read a certain number of books. I don’t think I can make it to 40. That’s a LOT of books! But shoot, I’ll give it a try. Who knows?

1) Located and cleaned the crockpot.
2} Made a list and checked it twice.
3) Decided to bake homemade rolls to complement the recipe.

One of the guys here at work burned it for me so I don’t know the name, but it is so good! It has that fairly new Christmas song about “a baby changes everything” – I don’t know if that is the name, but it gives me a lump in the throat every time I hear it! I hope you don’t mind that your mom shared this with me – and I love it!! I gave in over two weeks ago when I happened to see a Faith Hill Christmas CD in my cabinet at work. She’s been belting it every single morning – and usually at least once in the afternoon. I LOVE Christmas music, too. In fact, I have go to find my Amy Grant Christmas CD’s . . . . like TODAY! I totally agree with buying pre-chopped stuff. I guess your passing out at the sight of your own blood is hereditary…..just ask your dad about me and knives.
