Meet the ladies!

Jessica Smith - Maid of Honor; friend of the bride.
I met Jessie when I was five years old. She lived down the street from me, and we spent pretty much every day together as kids. In middle and high school, we played softball at the community park. When I got my first kiss, she was the one I told first. She lives in Semmes now (where we grew up) and has a two-year old daughter, Sydney.

Cecilia Hamilton - Maid of Honor; friend of the bride.
Cecilia and I met in sixth grade. We were both in band and shared a general distaste for stupid people. Our freshman year we ended up with identical class schedules and, thanks to our last names both starting with H, we sat next to each other in all of those classes. Cecilia lives in Dallas now and is a self-proclaimed starving artist. If you see someone giggling hysterically with me, that's her.

Jessica Magro - friend of the bride.
Jessi and I were roommates at LSU, where we met through a boy who once tried to insult me by pointing out that my hair was "red from a bottle." We bond over our love for My So-Called Life, Zoolander, and boyfriends who can quote an entire movie after seeing it only once. Jessi recently moved to Savannah with her boyfriend Travis to work with cochlear implants. I visited her there for St. Patty's after she proclaimed "it's like Mardi Gras!"

Mandy Stelzer - friend of the bride.
I have LSU Residential Life to thank for introducing me to Mandy. They assigned us to be roommates, and if it wasn't for Mandy I probably wouldn't have met anyone at school. I soon learned that Mandy had a special place in her heart for cows (you just gotta know her) and really any animal. Mandy is best known to me for her procrastination tendencies. For example, if I came home to find her room rearranged and a freshly baked cake in the kitchen, I knew she must be having an exam the next day. Mandy lives in Baton Rouge with her husband Sam and their new baby boy, Lee.

April Holloway - cousin of the bride.
April is my dad's brother's daughter. She just had a baby this month, so her challenge is making sure her dress will fit in March. April is the cook in the family. Every holiday I look forward to her dressing (my Dad likes her deviled eggs). She lives in Mobile with her husband John and their brand new baby girl, Darcy.

Michelle Ely - friend of the bride.
Michelle and I met through her husband Hunter, who I worked with at LSU. She and Hunter are two of mine and Roger's closest friends. From cookouts at their house to hanging out at the Port (local dive), we always have fun when we're together. Mee-chelle (as Hunter likes to call her) is working on her art education degree and she's also expecting a baby. So she has her hands full right now!UPDATE: Michelle is now the proud mother of a baby boy, Aiden!
