How We Met

Roger and I met at work (scandalous!) when the company I worked for in Baton Rouge bought out the company he worked for in Atlanta. Since Roger was new to Baton Rouge, I offered him advice on apartments and invited him to hang out with me and my friends.

We started hanging out even more when Roger was assigned to rewrite one of our company's tax applications. Being the tech support manager, I knew a lot about the current software so I was a good resource for him. We spent many nights talking about taxes and customers (exciting stuff!). But mostly we got to know each other really well. And I realized I kinda liked Roger a little bit...

So one night we were hanging out at his place watching a movie and I decided to kiss him. His reaction was (and I quote) "what are you doing?" Yeah, let that romantic line sink in for a moment...

But obviously it all worked out. Roger explained that he'd been thinking about me too, but was concerned about dating me since we worked together. So we kept our relationship a secret for a few months, until it became more serious.

Now I kiss him any time I want. :)
